Track Rules

Adhering to the following guidelines will help ensure that everyone has a good time at the track.

Operating radio-controlled vehicles is an inherently dangerous activity. Area 51 RC Grounds or Asheville Hobbies assumes no liability for any loss that you may suffer, personal or property. Use of the facilities at Area 51 RC is at your own risk with the understanding that things can and do go wrong.

* Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
* Smoking on the driver stand or in pit lane is not allowed.
* Fighting will not be tolerated in any form.
* Foul language should be restricted to private conversations, or better yet not used at all.
* Exercise caution and use common sense with everything that you do at the track. Make sure there are no oncoming cars when crossing the track (look both ways!!), be careful when working around hot engines and exhaust, be mindful of your fellow racers, etc.
* ALWAYS make sure to get your frequency clip on the board before powering on your transmitter.
* Drive on the track only in the appropriate direction.
* Do not spend unnecessary time standing in one of the lanes (driving, repairing cars, etc).
* Help keep our track alive by paying your $5 practice fee. Track is open for practice anytime during daylight hours (except race & maintenance days).

* Pick up all trash after yourself. If trash cans are not out then take the trash back with you.
